Cambie brings the joy of chocolate and pastry with quality, care, and innovation. We partnered up last year to work on their core metrics and improve the customer experience of their store.
The project
Our goal with Cambie was to use personalization and AB testing to improve their core metrics. For this, we paired up with the app Because and started to test different campaigns.
The approach
We ran multiple tests. One where we displayed "Low stock" badges on products at a collection page level. Another displayed "Selling fast" when products reached a certain amount of units. Using because to test different things at different stages of the funnel was incredibly valuable.
At the collection or product page level, the key metric we were aiming to increase was the "add to cart %". Conversion at this stage is not the most precise metric.
At a cart level, conversion becomes easier to track. Adding some different messages at that stage had a positive effect on conversions.
The results
By using a series of tests and personalization tactics, we were able to see a significant increase in Conversion rate and Average Order Value. We are continuously testing and working to improve metrics for Cambie.
