Farmfetch
We redesigned Farmfetch’s website and created a custom cart to group items by vendor, show free shipping progress, and recommend relevant products. This improved clarity, increased upsells, and raised average order value.

The project
Farmfetch, a marketplace with hundreds of local food and drink vendors, needed a new website and cart experience that could handle vendor-specific shipping rules. Their goal was to help users reach free shipping thresholds per vendor while making it easy to discover and buy more from individual sellers. This would reduce friction in the buying journey and incentivize larger purchases per vendor.
The approach
Aside from the website, we designed a dynamic cart that grouped items by vendor, tracked progress toward each vendor’s free shipping threshold, and surfaced tailored product recommendations. This setup allowed users to easily discover more from the same vendor and simplified upsells and cross-sells within a single, unified cart experience.

In the cart, users can add new products by pressing one button

Alternatively, users can press to see more details, all without leaving the cart
The results
The new experience improved average order value and clarity across multi-vendor checkouts. Customers now see separate vendor sections with real-time shipping progress and relevant upsells. Compared to the previous slide-out cart, the new version boosted product relevance, improved navigation, and supported smarter, vendor-level conversions.
