Party Lite
PartyLite is a direct-to-consumer brand that sells candles worldwide. This case study details how we migrated their entire online experience from Magento to Shopify Plus for their three largest markets: the US, Canada, and the UK.
The project
It became clear that PartyLite needed to transition from their current Magento setup to a more flexible and scalable platform, so Shopify Plus emerged as the ideal solution for this migration. Our goal was not just to facilitate the platform switch but to enhance the brand’s online presence.
The approach
Migrating from Magento to Shopify means more than just moving things over – it’s about understanding the differences between the platforms and making sure everything works smoothly. We kicked off the project with a Discovery Session to get a solid action plan in place and from there, implemented it.
We developed a robust discount and gifting mechanism that went beyond Shopify’s native capabilities, providing PartyLite with a flexible system to support promotions and customer engagement.
We implemented multiple improvements across the entire purchasing journey, all designed to optimize the user experience and increase customer satisfaction.
The results
The migration to Shopify Plus for the US, CA, and UK stores was a success. PartyLite now has a faster, more user-friendly site, with flexibility for managing complex promotions. We now work on an ongoing basis with their team.
